My family and I had dinner at the Exeter Restaurant on Saturday evening. I ordered the Grilled Chicken over Rice Pilaf, baked potato and salad bar. The chicken and rice were lukewarm at best. The baked potato was most likely left over from lunch, as it was very brown on the inside - like it was kept in a warming drawer for many hours. My husband had the Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The meatloaf also was lukewarm at best. It looked like it had been made several hours in advance and was dry and crusty around the edges. My Aunt had the Roast Turkey with gravy, vegetable medley and baked potato. Her potato looked like the one I had....very old and brown on the inside. I would have expected better/hotter food from this place - especially on a Saturday evening. We won't be going back there anytime soon! |

The last time we were here the Mac & cheese was very watery. The spaghetti was not done enough and the sauce was runny. The ham steak was very fatty. We have eaten here many times, but after this last visit we haven't been back. |
